Symptoms
The boiler reports a low water pressure alarm. The system water pressure is below the minimum operating level.
Possible Causes
- System water loss from a leak
- Expansion vessel charge lost or diaphragm failed
- Automatic fill valve not maintaining pressure
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Check the system pressure gauge
Pressure is between 1 and 2 bar - Step 2: Inspect the system for water leaks
No leaks detected - Step 3: Verify the expansion vessel charge pressure
Vessel is charged to the correct pressure
How to Reset
To reset: Restore the system pressure to the correct range, then clear the alarm.
