Symptoms
The compressor reports a minimum pressure valve fault. The minimum pressure valve is not maintaining the minimum system pressure.
Possible Causes
- Valve seat worn causing leakage
- Valve spring broken or fatigued
- Valve piston stuck from contamination
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Inspect the valve seat for wear
Seat is smooth and seals correctly - Step 2: Check the valve spring condition
Spring is intact with correct tension - Step 3: Clean and verify the valve piston movement
Piston moves freely
How to Reset
To reset: Repair or replace the minimum pressure valve, then clear the alarm.
