GA Series Compressed Air System
Symptoms
The compressor reports high oil carry-over. The compressed air contains excessive oil content.
Possible Causes
- Oil separator element worn or saturated
- Scavenge line blocked or misadjusted
- Oil level too high in the separator tank
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Inspect the oil separator element
Element is within service life - Step 2: Verify the scavenge line is clear
Line returns oil to the compressor - Step 3: Check the oil level is not overfilled
Level is at the correct mark
How to Reset
To reset: Resolve the oil carry-over issue, then clear the alarm.
