Symptoms
The compressor reports a cooling fan failure. The compressor cooling fan is not operating.
Possible Causes
- Fan motor burned out
- Fan blade damaged or broken
- Fan motor circuit fuse blown
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Test the fan motor for operation
Motor runs at full speed - Step 2: Inspect fan blades for damage
Blades are intact and balanced - Step 3: Check the fan circuit fuse and wiring
Fuse is good and wiring is intact
How to Reset
To reset: Repair or replace the cooling fan, then clear the alarm.
