GA Series Compressed Air System
Symptoms
The compressor reports a motor overload. The drive motor current exceeds the rated value.
Possible Causes
- Excessive load from high system pressure
- Motor bearing failure causing drag
- Supply voltage low or phase imbalance
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Check motor current against nameplate FLA
Current is within rated value - Step 2: Inspect motor bearings
Bearings are in good condition - Step 3: Verify supply voltage and phase balance
Voltage is balanced and within range
How to Reset
To reset: Clear the overload, allow the motor to cool, then reset.
