Symptoms
The compressor reports an oil pump fault. The oil pump is not delivering adequate pressure for bearing lubrication.
Possible Causes
- Oil pump internal wear reducing pumping efficiency
- Oil pump drive coupling broken or slipping
- Oil pump suction strainer clogged with debris
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Check oil pump output pressure against the specification
Pump delivers pressure within the rated range - Step 2: Inspect the pump drive coupling for damage
Coupling is intact and transmits rotation properly - Step 3: Clean or replace the pump suction strainer
Strainer is clean and oil flows freely
How to Reset
To reset: Restore oil pump output to specification, then reset the alarm.
