Symptoms
Warning - Cam sensor fault. The camshaft position sensor is not providing a signal.
Possible Causes
- Camshaft position sensor failure
- Sensor wiring damaged or disconnected
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Check the camshaft sensor signal with an oscilloscope
No signal from the sensor - Step 2: Inspect the sensor wiring and replace the sensor
New sensor provides a clean signal
How to Reset
To reset: Replace the cam sensor, then acknowledge the warning.
