Symptoms
The PLC reports a program memory error. The program cannot be read from memory reliably.
Possible Causes
- Flash memory chip failure
- Memory corruption from electrical disturbance
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Attempt to re-download the program from ISPSoft
If download fails, memory is defective - Step 2: If re-download succeeds, monitor for recurrence
Error does not recur after fresh download
How to Reset
To reset: Re-download the program. If the error persists, the memory hardware is defective.
