Symptoms
The valve terminal reports a filter regulator fault. The combined filter and pressure regulator is malfunctioning.
Possible Causes
- Regulator diaphragm torn or fatigued
- Filter bowl cracked or contaminated
- Relief valve seat damaged
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Inspect the regulator diaphragm for damage
Diaphragm is intact - Step 2: Check the filter bowl for cracks
Bowl is intact and clean - Step 3: Test the relief valve operation
Valve relieves at the correct pressure
How to Reset
To reset: Repair or replace the filter regulator, then clear the alarm.
