Applicable Systems
TransSteel 2700
Symptoms
The welding system reports an undervoltage fault. The input voltage is below the rated minimum.
Possible Causes
- Input voltage sag from supply overload
- Extension cord too long or gauge too small
- Supply circuit breaker tripping under load
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Check the input voltage under load
Voltage is above the minimum - Step 2: Verify the power cable length and gauge
Cable meets the amperage requirement - Step 3: Check the supply circuit capacity
Circuit handles the welder load
How to Reset
To reset: Restore adequate input voltage, then reset the fault.
