Symptoms
The printing press reports excessive impression pressure. The printing pressure between plate and blanket cylinders exceeds the set limit.
Possible Causes
- Impression cylinder packing incorrect for the substrate
- Bearer rings worn or damaged
- Pressure setting parameter outside specification
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Verify the impression cylinder packing thickness

Rings are smooth and properly seated - Step 3: Check and correct the pressure setting parameter

How to Reset
To reset: Adjust the impression pressure to specification, then clear the alarm.
