Symptoms
Backhoe bucket curl weak; loader arms unaffected.
Possible Causes
- Backhoe auxiliary spool in monoblock valve worn.
- Bucket cylinder piston seal bypassing.
- Pressure relief valve for backhoe circuit set too low.
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Measure backhoe curl pressure at service port while stalling against pile.
Pressure reaches 20.7 MPa; no decay under stall. - Step 2: Check bucket cylinder rod seal for oil weep during extend/retract.
No oil past wiper; rod dry. - Step 3: Adjust backhoe relief valve and recheck pressure.
Relief opens at 21 MPa ± 0.5 MPa after adjustment.
How to Reset
Replace monoblock spool or bucket cylinder seals; reset relief valve to 21 MPa.
