Symptoms
Engine output power decreased to protect engine; derate indicator active; limited RPM range.
Possible Causes
- Engine protection system active (oil temp/coolant temp)
- ECM detected condition requiring power reduction
- Sensor failure triggering protection mode
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Check all engine-related active codes (oil pressure, temp)
No other active engine codes - Step 2: Verify engine oil pressure at operating temp
Oil pressure 0.3-0.5 MPa at idle - Step 3: Check coolant temperature (normal < 105C)
Coolant temp within normal range - Step 4: Inspect oil and coolant level
Both at proper levels - Step 5: Clear E11 after resolving underlying condition
No derate, full power restored

Clear via monitor panel after resolving root cause of protection activation.
