Symptoms
The lubrication system reports a metering pump fault. A metering pump is not delivering the correct volume.
Possible Causes
- Pump internal wear reducing output
- Pump drive coupling broken
- Pump suction strainer clogged
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Check the pump output volume against the specification
Output meets the rated volume - Step 2: Inspect the pump drive coupling
Coupling is intact and transmits rotation - Step 3: Clean or replace the suction strainer
Strainer is clean and flow is unrestricted
How to Reset
To reset: Restore the metering pump performance, then clear the alarm.
