Symptoms
The lubrication system reports oil emulsion. Water contamination has caused the oil to emulsify.
Possible Causes
- Water ingress from condensation or leak
- Reservoir breather allowing moisture in
- Oil type not resistant to water contamination
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Check for water ingress sources
No water ingress found - Step 2: Inspect the reservoir breather
Breather is dry and functioning - Step 3: Replace the emulsified oil
New oil is clean and water-free
How to Reset
To reset: Replace the oil and fix the water source, then clear the alarm.
