Symptoms
The weaving machine reports a main motor overload. The main drive motor current exceeds the rated value.
Possible Causes
- Mechanical overload from tight shedding or high beat-up force
- Motor bearing failure causing drag
- Speed setting too high for the fabric construction
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Check for excessive mechanical load
Load is within the motor capacity - Step 2: Inspect motor bearings
Bearings are in good condition - Step 3: Verify the speed setting for the fabric
Speed is appropriate
How to Reset
To reset: Clear the overload, allow the motor to cool, then reset.
