Symptoms
The weaving machine reports a main shaft encoder fault. The main shaft position encoder is malfunctioning.
Possible Causes
- Encoder cable damaged or connector loose
- Encoder coupling or mounting loose
- Encoder internal failure
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Check the encoder cable and connector
Cable is intact and connector is secure - Step 2: Verify the encoder mounting and coupling
Encoder is firmly mounted and coupled - Step 3: Test the encoder output signal
Signal is clean and accurate
How to Reset
To reset: Repair or replace the encoder, then clear the alarm.
