Street Crane Overhead Crane
Symptoms
The Street Crane system displays alarm ST008, indicating radio remote control signal loss. The radio link between the operator's transmitter and the crane receiver has been lost, causing an automatic stop.
Possible Causes
- Radio transmitter battery is low or the antenna is damaged, reducing signal strength
- Radio receiver antenna is misaligned or there is electromagnetic interference from nearby equipment
- Radio frequency channel is experiencing interference from another transmitter on the same or adjacent channel
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Check the transmitter battery voltage and the antenna condition
Battery is fully charged or above 50 percent and the antenna is intact with no damage - Step 2: Verify the receiver antenna alignment and check for nearby sources of electromagnetic interference
Antenna is correctly oriented and no significant interference sources are nearby - Step 3: Test a channel change on both the transmitter and receiver to find a clear frequency
A clear channel is found with no interference and the signal strength indicator shows full bars
How to Reset
To reset: 1) Charge or replace the transmitter battery. 2. Realign the receiver antenna. 3. Change to a clear radio channel. 4. Press RESET. 5. Verify the crane responds to all transmitter commands.
