Symptoms
The battery system reports a pack temperature difference. The temperature spread between cells is too large.
Possible Causes
- Thermal management not distributing cooling evenly
- Airflow blocked to certain cell modules
- Cell degradation causing localized heating
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Check the thermal management airflow distribution
Airflow reaches all cell modules - Step 2: Inspect for airflow blockages
No blockages detected - Step 3: Verify cell temperatures are uniform
Temperature spread is within tolerance
How to Reset
To reset: Resolve the temperature spread, then clear the alarm.
