Symptoms
The packaging machine reports a safety relay trip. The safety relay has activated, cutting power to hazardous motion.
Possible Causes
- Safety door opened during operation
- Emergency stop button activated
- Safety relay internal fault or wiring issue
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Check all safety devices for normal state
All doors closed and E-stops released - Step 2: Test the safety relay for proper operation
Relay cycles correctly through reset sequence - Step 3: Verify safety circuit wiring continuity
Wiring is intact with no opens or shorts
How to Reset
To reset: Clear all safety device activations, then reset the safety relay.
