Symptoms
Shutdown - Undervoltage. The generator output voltage has dropped below the critical shutdown threshold.
Possible Causes
- AVR failure causing voltage collapse
- Excitation system failure
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Check the AVR and excitation system
AVR or exciter has failed - Step 2: Replace the AVR or repair the excitation system
Voltage is restored to normal
How to Reset
To reset: Fix the AVR or excitation system, then reset the controller.
