Symptoms
The valve terminal reports a fieldbus communication fault. The connection between the valve terminal and the controller is lost.
Possible Causes
- Fieldbus cable disconnected or damaged
- Fieldbus module address conflict
- Electrical noise interfering with the bus signal
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Check the fieldbus cable connections at both ends
Connections are secure and intact - Step 2: Verify the fieldbus module address is unique
No address conflicts exist - Step 3: Check cable shielding and grounding
Shield is properly grounded
How to Reset
To reset: Restore the fieldbus connection, then reset the valve terminal.
