Symptoms
The valve terminal reports a slow solenoid response. A solenoid valve is switching slower than expected.
Possible Causes
- Valve spool contamination causing friction
- Pilot pressure insufficient for fast switching
- Solenoid voltage low reducing switching force
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Disassemble and clean the valve spool
Spool moves freely after cleaning - Step 2: Verify the pilot air pressure
Pilot pressure meets the requirement - Step 3: Check the solenoid supply voltage
Voltage is at the rated value
How to Reset
To reset: Clean and adjust the solenoid valve, then clear the alarm.
