Applicable Systems
CPX-FVDA-P
Symptoms
The valve terminal reports a pressure sensor drift. The pressure sensor reading has drifted from the calibrated value.
Possible Causes
- Sensor element aging causing calibration shift
- Temperature variation affecting sensor accuracy
- Sensor mounting stress causing mechanical drift
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Compare the sensor reading against a calibrated gauge
Drift is confirmed and quantified - Step 2: Recalibrate the sensor to the reference
Reading matches the reference within tolerance - Step 3: Verify sensor mounting is stress-free
Mounting does not induce mechanical stress
How to Reset
To reset: Recalibrate the pressure sensor, then clear the alarm.
