Symptoms
The valve terminal reports a cylinder stroke incomplete. A pneumatic cylinder is not reaching its end position.
Possible Causes
- Insufficient air pressure to complete the stroke
- Mechanical binding in the cylinder or load
- Flow control valve restricting speed too much
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Verify adequate air pressure at the cylinder
Pressure meets the requirement - Step 2: Inspect the cylinder and mechanism for binding
Mechanism moves freely - Step 3: Adjust the flow control valve for proper speed
Cylinder reaches end position reliably
How to Reset
To reset: Restore proper cylinder operation, then clear the alarm.
