Symptoms
The valve terminal reports a proximity sensor anomaly. A position or proximity sensor is not detecting the target.
Possible Causes
- Sensor mounting shifted from vibration
- Sensor target damaged or mispositioned
- Sensor element or wiring failure
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Verify the sensor mounting position
Sensor is correctly aligned - Step 2: Check the target position and condition
Target is present and correctly positioned - Step 3: Test sensor output and wiring continuity
Signal is correct and wiring is intact
How to Reset
To reset: Repair or replace the proximity sensor, then clear the alarm.
