Symptoms
The valve terminal reports a flow sensor fault. A pneumatic flow sensor is not reading correctly.
Possible Causes
- Sensor element contaminated or coated
- Sensor calibration drift from reference
- Sensor wiring or transmitter fault
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Clean the flow sensor element
Element is clean and unobstructed - Step 2: Recalibrate against a known flow rate
Reading matches the reference - Step 3: Test the transmitter output signal
Signal corresponds to the actual flow
How to Reset
To reset: Repair and recalibrate the flow sensor, then clear the alarm.
