Symptoms
The welding system reports a wire jam. The welding wire is jammed in the feed system.
Possible Causes
- Wire tangle in the spool or feed tube
- Drive roller groove worn or wrong size
- Liner clogged with debris or wire shavings
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Inspect the wire spool for tangles

Roller grips wire without slipping - Step 3: Clean or replace the welding liner
Wire feeds freely through the liner
How to Reset
To reset: Clear the wire jam, then clear the fault.
