Symptoms
The Haitian injection molding machine displays alarm HT001, indicating injection pressure exceeded the set limit. The injection pressure has reached the maximum allowable value during the injection phase, risking mold damage or flash.
Possible Causes
- Material viscosity is too high due to low barrel temperature or incorrect material drying
- Injection speed setting is too high for the mold flow resistance, causing pressure to spike
- Mold gate or runner is partially blocked by cold material or debris, restricting flow and raising pressure
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Check the barrel temperature settings against the material supplier's recommended range
Barrel temperatures are within the recommended range for the material grade being processed - Step 2: Verify the injection speed profile against the mold flow analysis recommendations
Injection speed profile matches the flow analysis, with speeds reduced at restrictive gates - Step 3: Inspect the mold gate and runner for blockages or cold slugs
Gate and runner are clear with no cold material or debris blocking the flow path
How to Reset
To reset: 1) Adjust barrel temperatures to the recommended range. 2) Reduce injection speed at restrictive points. 3) Clear mold blockages. 4) Press RESET. 5) Verify injection pressure stays below the limit during a test shot.
