GOT2000 Series
Symptoms
GT Designer3 project transfer fails with 'Memory Over' error at 85% progress.
Possible Causes
- Compiled project file (.gt3) larger than the GOT2000 internal user memory.
- Historical logging and recipe files consuming residual flash space.
- Transfer includes unnecessary font libraries for languages not used on the project.
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Check the .gt3 file size in Windows Explorer and compare with the GOT memory spec.
File size is within the available user memory (e.g., <32 MB for GT2107). - Step 2: Delete old historical logs and recipe backups from the GOT via the file manager.
Free space increases by >10 MB after cleanup. - Step 3: In GT Designer3, open 'Transfer Setup' and deselect unused font libraries.
Transfer package size is reduced by >5 MB and completes successfully.
How to Reset
Reduce project size by compressing graphics, removing unused fonts, and clearing old logs, then retransfer.
