Applicable Systems
GOT2000 Series
Symptoms
GOT2000 does not power on; 24 VDC applied but no backlight or beep.
Possible Causes
- Internal 5 VDC and 3.3 VDC regulator failure on the GOT mainboard.
- Blown onboard fuse due to accidental 220 VAC misconnection.
- Power connector pin assignment reversed (L+/M swapped).
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Measure 24 VDC at the GOT terminal block and verify polarity with the silkscreen labels.
Voltage is 21.6–26.4 VDC and L+/M are wired correctly. - Step 2: Check the onboard fuse near the power entry connector for continuity.
Fuse is continuous or replacement restores power LED. - Step 3: Probe the 5 VDC and 3.3 VDC test points on the mainboard with an oscilloscope.
Both rails are stable within +/-5% with <50 mV ripple.
How to Reset
Replace the power entry fuse or the mainboard regulator module, and verify DC rail stability.
Common Replacement Parts
- Onboard fuse 3.15 A: Onboard fuse 3.15 A
- DC-DC regulator module: DC-DC regulator module
