Symptoms
Fieldbus setpoint reception interrupted. The V90 has stopped receiving setpoint data from the fieldbus (PROFINET or PROFIdrive). The motor is stopped using the configured bus fault reaction.
Possible Causes
- PROFINET cable disconnected or damaged
- PROFINET switch failure
- PLC (PROFINET controller) stopped or crashed
- Communication parameters mismatch between PLC and V90
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Check PROFINET cable connection at V90 and switch/controller
Cable fully inserted; link LEDs on both ends lit - Step 2: Verify PROFINET switch is powered and operational
Switch is running; all port LEDs normal - Step 3: Check PLC status: is it in RUN mode and sending setpoints?
PLC is in RUN; no diagnostic errors - Step 4: Verify PROFINET device name and IP address match the PLC configuration
