Symptoms
The pneumatic system reports a cylinder external leak. Air is leaking externally from the cylinder.
Possible Causes
- Rod seal worn allowing air past the piston rod
- Cylinder end cap gasket damaged
- Cylinder body crack or porosity
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Inspect the cylinder rod area for air leaks
Air leak detected at the rod seal - Step 2: Check the end cap gasket
Gasket is intact or replaced - Step 3: Examine the cylinder body for cracks
No cracks or porosity found
How to Reset
To reset: Replace the rod seal or gasket, then clear the alarm.
