Symptoms
The pneumatic system reports a flow switch fault. The air flow switch is not detecting flow correctly.
Possible Causes
- Flow switch vane stuck or contaminated
- Switch calibration drift
- Switch wiring or element failure
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Inspect the flow switch for contamination
Switch is clean and vane moves freely - Step 2: Test the switch actuation at known flow rates
Switch activates at the correct flow - Step 3: Verify switch wiring and output signal
Signal is correct and wiring is intact
How to Reset
To reset: Repair or replace the flow switch, then clear the alarm.
