Symptoms

The pneumatic system reports a cylinder internal leak. The cylinder is leaking internally, causing reduced performance.

Possible Causes

  • Piston seal worn or damaged
  • Cylinder bore scored or scratched
  • Piston O-ring degraded from wear

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. Step 1: Perform a leak test by pressurizing and observing the opposite port
Air leaks through to the exhaust
  2. Step 2: Disassemble and inspect the piston seal
    Seal is worn or damaged
  3. Step 3: Replace the piston seal and inspect the bore
New seal seats correctly in a smooth bore

How to Reset

To reset: Replace the cylinder seals, then clear the alarm.
