Symptoms
The compressor reports a coupling anomaly. The drive coupling between motor and compressor is abnormal.
Possible Causes
- Coupling element worn or damaged
- Coupling alignment incorrect
- Coupling elastomer degraded
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Inspect the coupling for wear or damage
Coupling is in good condition - Step 2: Verify the motor-compressor alignment
Alignment is within tolerance - Step 3: Replace the coupling element if degraded
New coupling transmits power smoothly
How to Reset
To reset: Repair or replace the coupling, then clear the alarm.
