Symptoms

- Capacity control solenoid valve stuck or coil failed
- Capacity control linkage binding or mechanically jammed
- Control pressure to the capacity regulator is insufficient

- Step 1: Test capacity control solenoid valve coils for continuity
Solenoid coils show proper resistance - Step 2: Inspect the capacity control linkage for free movement
Linkage moves smoothly without binding - Step 3: Verify control oil pressure to the capacity regulator
Control pressure meets the manufacturer specification
How to Reset
To reset: Repair the capacity control system, then reset the fault on the controller.
