Symptoms
The packaging machine reports a product detection sensor fault. A product presence sensor is not functioning correctly.
Possible Causes
- Sensor face contaminated with product residue
- Sensor mounting position shifted
- Sensor element or wiring failure
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Clean the sensor detection face
Sensor face is clean and unobstructed - Step 2: Verify sensor mounting position and alignment
Sensor is correctly aligned to detect product - Step 3: Test sensor output and wiring continuity
Signal is correct and wiring is intact
How to Reset
To reset: Repair or replace the faulty sensor, then clear the alarm.
