Symptoms
The packaging machine reports an emergency stop trigger. An emergency stop has been activated, halting all motion.
Possible Causes
- Operator pressed the emergency stop button
- E-stop button stuck in the depressed position
- E-stop circuit wiring fault
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Inspect and release all emergency stop buttons
All E-stops are in the released position - Step 2: Check the E-stop circuit for continuity
Circuit is complete and functional - Step 3: Verify the safety relay reset operation
