Electrolux Dryer
Symptoms
The dryer displays error E007, indicating the condensate drain pump is blocked. Water cannot be pumped out of the condenser reservoir, triggering the water level sensor and halting operation.
Possible Causes
- Lint or debris blocking the pump impeller or inlet filter
- Drain hose kinked, frozen, or elevated above the pump outlet
- Drain pump motor coil burned out or capacitor failed
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Remove and clean the pump filter and check the impeller for blockages
Impeller spins freely and filter is clear of debris - Step 2: Inspect the drain hose for kinks and verify the discharge height
Hose is unkinked and discharge end is no higher than 1 meter above floor - Step 3: Test the drain pump coil resistance and capacitor
Coil resistance is within range and capacitor shows correct microfarad rating
How to Reset
To reset: 1) Clear the pump blockage or replace the faulty pump. 2) Ensure the drain hose is properly routed. 3) Empty the condensate tank and press START.
