Symptoms
The injection molding machine reports a melt quality alarm. The melt shows signs of incomplete plasticization.

- Barrel temperature too low for the material
- Screw speed too low for adequate mixing
- Residence time too short for full melting
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Verify all barrel zone temperatures are at setpoint
