Symptoms
The injection molding machine reports high hydraulic oil temperature. The hydraulic system oil exceeds the safe operating limit.
Possible Causes
- Oil cooler fouled or cooling water insufficient
- Continuous high-pressure operation generating heat
- Hydraulic pump internal wear causing inefficiency
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Check the oil cooler and cooling water supply
Cooler is clean and water flow is adequate - Step 2: Reduce the duty cycle if continuously high load
Temperature stabilizes - Step 3: Inspect the hydraulic pump for internal wear
Pump operates efficiently
How to Reset
To reset: Lower the oil temperature below the limit, then clear the alarm.
