Symptoms
Motor speed exceeded the maximum allowable speed: min(p1082, CI: p1085) + p2162.
Possible Causes
- Maximum speed parameter P1082 set incorrectly
- Overspeed margin P2162 set too small
- Motor encoder fault
- Dynamic optimization insufficient
- Load surge causing speed spike
Troubleshooting Steps
- For positive direction: check r1084, set P1082, CI:P1085 and P2162 correctly
- For negative direction: check r1087, set P1082, CI:P1088 and P2162 correctly
- Activate speed limit controller feedforward (P1401.7=1)
- Increase overspeed margin P2162 (upper limit depends on P0322 and P1082)
- Check encoder functionality
- For lifting equipment: check brake release logic during load descent
How to Reset
Reset by: 1) Correct the fault condition. 2) Press RESET button or send reset command via communication. 3) Verify fault does not recur during operation.
