Symptoms
The pneumatic system reports a silencer clogged. An exhaust silencer is restricting exhaust flow.
Possible Causes
- Silencer element saturated with oil and moisture
- Environmental dust accumulating in the silencer
- Silencer at end of service life
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Inspect the silencer for contamination
Silencer is heavily contaminated - Step 2: Clean or replace the silencer element
New or clean silencer allows free exhaust flow - Step 3: Check the air quality and lubrication level
Air quality is within specification
How to Reset
To reset: Clean or replace the silencer, then clear the alarm.
