Symptoms
The packaging line reports insufficient air pressure. The compressed air supply pressure is below the minimum required for proper pneumatic component operation.
Possible Causes
- Main air compressor failure or insufficient capacity
- Air leak in the supply line or distribution system
- Air preparation unit pressure regulator set too low
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Check the main air supply pressure at the machine inlet
Pressure meets the minimum requirement of 6 bar - Step 2: Inspect all air lines and fittings for leaks using soapy water
No leaks detected at any connection - Step 3: Verify the pressure regulator setting on the air preparation unit
Regulator is set to the correct pressure
How to Reset
To reset: Restore adequate air pressure, then acknowledge the alarm on the HMI.
