Symptoms
In vector control mode, the drive detected motor loss of slip for longer than P2178 setting.
Possible Causes
- Motor slip detection activated via r1408.12 (p1745)
- Excitation time (P0346) too short
- Current limit (P0640) too low for sufficient excitation
- Motor cable disconnected
- Motor encoder fault
- Power device fault
- Main power phase loss in PM230/PM250/PM260
- Heavy load or brake logic issue
Troubleshooting Steps
- Execute motor data detection and rotational detection
- Check if drive stalls under load with zero speed command - increase P1610 current setpoint
- Check motor cable connection
- Check encoder functionality
- Check power device and power unit for phase loss
- Verify load conditions and brake operation
How to Reset
Reset by: 1) Correct the fault condition. 2) Press RESET button or send reset command via communication. 3) Verify fault does not recur during operation.
